Initial Visit FAQ’s

Q: I have been told I need surgery for my neck and back pain. I would like to explore alternative options. Now what?

A: You are at the right place! If you’d like to learn more about becoming a new patient, give us a call at (863) 913-1240 to set up a free no-obligation consultation.

Q: What is included in the free no-obligation consultation for new patients?

A: During your scheduled appointment, you will meet with a nurse practitioner to discuss current concerns and areas of pain, medical, and family history, as well as any previous treatments you have tried. Your nurse practitioner will make notes about your case to determine whether or not you are a suitable candidate and decide on next steps.

Q: I completed my consultation. I was told integrative medicine would be a good solution for me. What’s next?

A: You will receive a detailed exam on your areas of concern and a determination will be made as to whether or not you need additional imaging such as X-rays. If you need X-rays, we are able to provide these in-house, and often same day (or a subsequent visit), depending on if time permits for both the patient and MMI. Once X-rays are performed, our team of medical experts will review your results. If we feel our treatment options may benefit you, we will formulate and outline an initial plan of care and discuss your possibilities at that time. If you would like to proceed with treatment and time allows, you may be able to begin therapies on the same day as your consultation, or follow-up visit.

Q: What types of conditions does MMI treat?

A: We offer natural and non-surgical treatment options for joint and muscle pain, arthritis, back pain, plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, carpal tunnel, TMJ, migraines, and more. In a nutshell, if you are looking to decrease your inflammation, reduce pain, and/or repair damaged tissues, MMI can help you achieve long-lasting, desired results.

Q: What types of therapies should I expect to receive?

A: At MMI, we offer physiotherapy, ultrasound-guided injections for joint pain, trigger point injections, platelet rich plasma (PRP) therapy, regenerative cellular tissue product injections, massage therapy, bracing, chiropractic care, body contouring and weight loss, DOT certified medical examiner assessments, and basic med flight exams.

Q: Are all treatment options safe?

A: Yes! At MMI, we use only the highest quality regenerative treatments, and all of our therapies are administered by highly trained medical professionals. We only utilize medical treatments backed by research and quality control.

Q: After my initial visit, how long should I expect to receive treatment for?

A: Because we focus on our patients’ whole-health, our regimen will include a combination of therapies that work in harmony with one another. Most therapy programs will last between four and eight weeks, with the patient coming three times per week for rehabilitation services. As mentioned prior, each program is tailored to a patient’s specific needs and problem areas, so treatment time will vary from person to person. The best determinant for your length of treatment will be defined after your initial consultation.

Q: How much will my treatment cost?

A: Since treatments will differ from person to person, costs will vary too. Most insurance companies do not cover regenerative medicine; however, we are happy to provide itemized receipts that patients can submit to their insurance companies to use for potential reimbursement.

We offer many packages and special offers for a lot of our treatments. We never want a financial burden to get in the way of you and your health, so it’s best to talk with us directly to see how we can work together on a cost-effective solution.

Final Thoughts

If injuries are left untreated, further risks of developing pain, degeneration, loss of mobility, arthritis, and even certain disabilities can arise. It’s important to address the reason for your pain and establish the most effective treatment protocol as soon as possible. We hope you will consider allowing MMI to help you get back to feeling strong and healthy.
